WILDLIFE RESCUE AND REHABILITATION TOUR
In this tour meet the sanctuary residents while learning about their history, biology, and conservation needs. The wildlife sanctuary offers refuge to a wide variety of animals including a variety of monkey species, two-toed sloth, anteater, parrots, scarlet macaws, toucan, and a crocodile, amongst others.
CANYONING TOUR
Scramble through natural obstacles in a canyon and rappel down waterfalls. Learn the fundamentals and proper techniques of rappelling. – with 6 waterfalls. The largest of the falls is 27 meters, or 80 feet. The canyon ends at the Uvita River where there are some pristine swimming holes for jumping & sliding or relaxing and reflecting.

The areas of Ojochal and nearby Uvita are home to beautiful waterfalls, surrounded by lush forests, that make the perfect place to hang out and swim if you would rather have a break from the beach. The best falls in our neighborhood include Ojochal Waterfall, El Pavon, Poza Azul, Nauyaca and Uvita Waterfall.
BARU WILDLIFE REFUGE TOURS AND TRAIL
The Baru National Wildlife Refuge conserves 330 hectares (815 acres) of tropical rainforest, mangrove, wetlands, river bank, and beach front. This wide variety of ecosystems means a high level of biodiversity, with over 365 species of birds sighted on the refuge. Ecological, canopy, hiking and overnight tours are available to all visitors.
DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING
